Remote Education
As of the 8th March 2021, all schools are fully open to all pupils. Under the school risk assessment and contingency plans, in the event of pupil isolation owing to government rules regarding COVID-19, we will continue to provide pupils with learning remotely. At AVESC we provide remote learning opportunities through various online platforms. These platforms are targeted to support functional literacy and numeracy opportunities for our pupils. Where a pupil cannot attend a site, alternate provision or in recent years COVID related lockdowns and isolation, these online platforms are available for them:
-
BKSB Functional skills English, Maths and ICT
-
SeeSaw
-
Microsoft Teams for live lessons
-
Hegarty Maths
-
Numeracy and Literacy Ninja's
These services will remain in place for all pupils in the event of future school closure. If you have any problems accessing work, or have a concern or query regarding the content of work, please contact the school on 0115 8500820.
