KS4 Core Results 2017-2018

APT results summary:

  • 100% of year 11 students achieved English and Maths. This is the first year we have achieved this.

  • 96% of students achieved their target level.

  • 69% of students were entered for their aspirational target which is 1 level of progress.

  • Of these, 87% achieved their aspirational target. 39% increase compared to last year.

  • 3 students achieved level 2 in maths and 1 in English.

  • 75% of Y11 students increased their attendance whilst on roll.

  • Y11 attendance increased from 56% on entry to 70% for the cohort.

  • 78% of all students for 2017-18 received no fixed term exclusions at all.

  • Of the 22 students who did receive a FTE for poor behaviour, 91% of these received less FTE compared to when they were in mainstream.

  • 93% of those entered achieved at least 1 level of progress in English Language

  • 43% of those entered achieved 2 levels of progress in GCSE English Language

  • 59% of Year 11 cohort achieved at least 1 level of progress in GCSE English Language

  • 27% of Year 11 cohort achieved at least 2 levels of progress in GCSE English Language

  • 50% of those entered achieved at least 1 level of progress in English Literature

  • 77% of Year 11 cohort achieved at least 1 level of progress in Maths GCSE

  • 9% of the Year 11 cohort achieved 3 levels of progress in Maths GCSE

  • 86% of Year 11 cohort achieved at least 1 level of progress in Functional Skills /Entry Level English

  • 94% of Year 11 cohort achieved at least 1 level of progress in Functional Skills /Entry Level Math

 

The table above shows a positive trend in pupils attending post 16 provision and securing employment when comparing 2016 – 2017 figures.
